Long overdue visit to......The Library

I bought Jaryl to the library and as usual, he will borrow his favorite dinosaurs books.... each time a different book.

As we were about to leave the library, I did remember to make payment thru. Kisok and Jaryl will very much love to help.

Before we head for home, Jaryl was hungry and we did stop over for a nibble at the food courts. Actually it was almost dinner time but I guess he cannot wait unstill then.

Well, don’t call that a bite…..as good as having dinner ^-^ His favorite 'yellow' noodles with meat balls.

Mary Jean tied a bid on Jarica this morning and I find it lovely. I guess Jarica has started drooling and I realised that she is trying to find her 'thumb thumb', hmmm.....

Cannot resist but to buy the sweet story book for Jarica

Jarica first Christmas book that I have bought from the bookstore and I did bought her two more soft toys as shown above. Both toys are for age, birth and up, especially the stimuli blocks with colour Black, White and Red. Those infant development toys are good for baby visual and auditory development.

While waiting for Celeste’s Princess Makeover at Causeway Point, I took some photos of Jaryl to keep him occupied. The Christmas tree was near the makeover counter, therefore, we could see my mother and Celeste still.

Be A Princess For A Day

I made a trip to Causeway Point together with Jaryl, Jarica and Mary Jean to meet my mother and Celeste on Tuesday for Princess Makeover Session. Well, that's for Celeste..... I guess my sister had spent $150 to get a free makeover and a Polaroid picture to keep. The appointment was made at 1pm but we decided to join the 'with appointment' queue to avoid disappointment. The management will only entertain up to 120 persons per day, therefore, it is wise to queue early....typical Singaporean. We had waited for less than 1hr and it took another 1hr for the makeover and photos shoot.

XuanYu's Birthday

Jaryl had been waiting for XuanYu's 2nd birthday since the day I talked about it and finally we went for the party celebration last Sat. It was a family gathering as well and my brother had made it a small family affair which I think it is a great idea......no stress.

My X'mas this year....

We took the whole family to Ngee Ann City and taken some photos as usual for Christmas. We did made it earlier this year to avoid the crowd. I guess we will not be visiting down town during this Christmas but to spend more time with family members at home.

Jaryl's Drawing - 9 Planets

Last night, Jaryl started his board drawing and Mary Jean (name of our maid) was asked to join him. Here's their 'masterpiece'..... If you were to realised there are ten planets instead of nine in the drawing. Therefore, I did found out the order of planets is based on distances from the Sun. Moreover, I had read that astronomers have demoted Pluto so there are now only eight planets.

I just caught a grin of Hey, Gorgeous final and wow....Peggy Chang and Lloyd Soon won the Most i Ms and Mr Gorgeous title and crown the winner of Ms. and Mr. Gorgeous!

Well, Peggy Chang looks sporty and cheerful.... and Lloyd Soon, he is one of the best among all male contestants

However, I find Beatrice Tan from Temasek Polytechnic and Sim Pei Ling from SIM are equally good.

Maid to Order...

Hubby and I have spent the past few weeks checking out two maid agencies.....and listening to friends' experiences with their maids. I guess the one that took the cake with her ma's jewelries was most remembered by all.

When I heard the story, I did not know whether to be horrified or laugh. When one hires a maid, theft and murder would be the last thing one would expect to happen. Hmmm.... I think after hearing all these scary-maid stories, I am more mentally prepared. But to be fair, some of my friends also have good maids who are able to care of their kiddos and can cook well too. Hope I will be just as fortunate.

Finally, decided to get a maid as I will be going back to work in Dec, 2007. Actually, the tot of getting a maid came across our mind ever before Jarica was born, but we had decided to get one after Jarica is 3mths old. Seem like the decision of getting one came much earlier.

Well, Mary Jean (name of our maid) came to our house late last night. My hubby actually went to pick her up at Lay Peng's place. Mary came from Philippines and according to Lay Peng...she is one maid that we can put our trust on. She has experiences in household stuff, like cooking, cleaning up, taking care of infant and she can go without an off day on Sunday. But still, hubby and I are flexible, if she need to go off on Sunday after 6mths working in Singapore, we will allow her to do so.

When Hubby was running 'thru' household stuff with our new maid, Jaryl did joined in and gave his version of 'instructions' and daily routine to Mary as well..... Alamak!

Actually, I was preggie with Jarica when filming “Maid to Order3” but did not realize it then. When we knew that we was selected to film episode three, was surprised but still dun really know what to expect when the producer came to our house and interview’ us. I was so happy to know that Michelle Seah was the ‘maid’ for us and I knew hubby was thrill too.

We took this opportunity to take photos with the celebs. and hubby had uploaded the show and put up on YouTube for remembrance.
